Group Classes for Kids

All classes require 4 students to run, up to a maximum of 8 students. All classes are online, and students will have the opportunity to interact with myself and each other through puzzles, lesson material, and playing games. Read the class descriptions below to find the right course for your student, or reach out anytime for more information.

Duration: 8 weeks, 1-hr classes
Fees: 160$ CAD (20$ per class)

Suitable For: Girls who are beginners and would like to learn in the company of other girls

Student Age: 7-12

Duration: 8 weeks, 1-hr classes

Fees: 160$CAD (20$ per class)

- How to move each piece
- How to name the squares
- Piece value
- Check and Checkmate

Syllabus Includes:

• Tactics such as forks, pins and discovered attacks

• Basic endgame technique such as checkmating with the Queen and 2 Rooks

• Introduction to Opening theory

- Tactics training
- King + Pawn Endgames
- Opening Theory
- Analysis of famous female Grandmaster games
